Christopher Robert Evans, born on June 13, 1981 is an American actor. He began his career with roles in television series, like Opposite Sex, which aired in 2000. In 2005, following his appearances on Not Another Teen Movie and Fantastic Four (and its sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer 2007) He was known as the Marvel Comics superhero, the Human Torch. Evans was also featured in movie versions of comics and graphic novel TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). Evans' portrayal as Steve Rogers/Captain America in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014, 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) in addition to Endgame 2019 brought him greater fame. His work on the Marvel series made him one of the highest paid actors.
